YOUR DOG. YOUR GOALS. A CLEARER WAY FORWARD.01 / WORKING TOGETHER

A BETTER EVERYDAY

You love your dog.
Everyday life could
still be easier.

Maybe walks have become a tug-of-war. Maybe your dog knows the basics but seems to forget them whenever something interesting happens. Or maybe you’ve brought home a puppy and aren’t sure where to begin.

You don’t need to know the name of a training program before asking for help. Start with what’s happening at home, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to change.

We’ll help you explore the training options that fit your dog and the life you share.

02 / CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Find your starting point.

You do not need to diagnose the program first. Start with your dog, your goals, and how involved you want to be.

Different paths. The same goal: a better life together. Questions before you choose?

THE MOMENTS YOU WANT BACK

Work toward
the moments
that matter.

Puppy Foundations

Start with the everyday essentials.

There’s a lot to figure out when a puppy joins the family. Early obedience, leash manners, and learning how to communicate are useful starting points for the life ahead.

Tell us your puppy’s age and what you’re working through. We’ll discuss the available training options and help you find an appropriate place to begin.

Obedience &
Everyday Manners

Make the ordinary parts of the day more enjoyable.

Walking together. Greeting people. Listening when something else has your dog’s attention.

These are the moments worth bringing into the training conversation. Whether you’re starting with the basics or building on previous training, tell us where you need more consistency and what better manners would look like in your home.

Reactivity, Fear &
Behavior Concerns

Start with a conversation, not a promise.

When barking, lunging, fear, or aggressive behavior makes everyday situations difficult, choosing the right help matters.

Tell us what you’re seeing, when it happens, and your dog’s history, including any bite incidents. Before selecting a program, talk with our team about whether Pinnacle’s services are appropriate for your dog and what goals can reasonably be addressed.

You don’t have to arrive with the answers. Bring the questions you’ve been trying to work through.

03 / THE BLACK FOREST DIFFERENCE

Forty acres.
More than
four walls.

PINNACLE K9BLACK FOREST, COLORADO

Room to learn.
Room to be a dog.

Our Black Forest property brings open space and wooded surroundings into the training experience. There is room to work outdoors, move together, and practice beyond an indoor training room.

That setting is part of what makes Pinnacle different: professional training on a real Colorado property, with space for dogs to learn and room for them to be dogs.

04 / BRING THE LEARNING HOME

Training should make sense
at both ends of the leash.

Your dog’s training matters.
So does your understanding of it.

Pinnacle’s owner coaching helps connect the work your dog does with our trainers to the work you do together at home. It’s your opportunity to understand what your dog has been learning, ask questions, and practice communicating with them.

The goal isn’t simply to watch your dog listen to someone else. It’s to feel more confident working with them yourself.

Dog Training FAQs

Talk it through with us
Should I choose Board & Train or private lessons?

Board & Train combines a stay at Pinnacle with professional training and owner coaching. Private lessons keep you directly involved in scheduled training sessions, with practice between visits. Talk with our team about your dog’s needs, your goals, and how you’d like to participate before choosing.

Do you offer puppy training?

Pinnacle’s training options include work with puppies. Contact us with your puppy’s age and your priorities so we can discuss the appropriate program and any eligibility requirements.

Can I ask about a reactive, fearful, or aggressive dog?

Yes. Describe the behavior and your dog’s history when you contact us. Suitability needs to be discussed before booking; mentioning a behavior concern does not mean every case is appropriate for every program.

Will I learn how to work with my dog, too?

Yes. Owner coaching is part of Pinnacle’s Board & Train offering, and private lessons give you hands-on involvement in your dog’s training. Ask what owner instruction is included in the program you’re considering.

How long does training take, and what does it cost?

Pinnacle offers different Board & Train program lengths as well as lesson options. Contact the team for current program details and pricing. Discuss the skills you’d like to address and what’s included before selecting an option.

Where does training take place?

Pinnacle K9 is based on a 40-acre property in Black Forest near Colorado Springs. Contact us to discuss your training options or request a tour.

Is Board & Train the same as regular boarding?

No. Board & Train is a training program that includes a stay at Pinnacle. Regular dog boarding is a separate service for dogs staying with us while their owners are away. Choose the service that matches the reason for your dog’s visit.
